Family Home Evening

We are the first people to admit that our imperfections are ... extensive. One thing I've never gotten the hang of is Family Home Evening. We're always together, we go to church - why go to more effort to create a lesson and execute said lesson on an already hectic night? That's MY mentality; however, the kids have a different one. Noah has a fantastic primary teacher. She teaches them the lesson for the week AND prepares a little FHE kit for the kids.
Noah gets so excited about his kit that he gives the lesson on Sunday. Tonight Abby got into the spirit as well. She wrote a little play about the same story Noah's lesson was based upon - Abinadi and King Noah.

Noah gave his lesson, Abby gave us our parts and we acted out the play, and then we sang all NINE verses of "Follow the Prophet". Here's the link in case you want to sing it yourself:

I recorded Abby's play. It's about two minutes if you want to watch it:

These kids are simply amazing! They are so much fun! Our family is very blessed to have them in it. I guess God knows what He's doing after all!
