My Family by Noah Montierth

My Mom is the best Mom ever. She makes cookies every Monday for the walking group. She makes the best cookies. She always asks, "How was school?"

My Dad is the best. He loves basketball. He always plays video games with me. He likes to snuggle with me. My dad went to BYU. His birthday is June 14, 1970.

My big sister's name is Abby. She likes pocket knifes. Her birthday is March 8, 1997. She loves Harry Potter movies. She listens to cd stories to go to bed.

My little sister's birthday is December 26, 2007. She is two months old. She loves to smile and laugh. She is trying so much to say her first word.

I like to play with my little sister and try to make her do her cute little smile. I like to play video games. And I loves to play sports. I have four pets. I have a Dalmatian, Goldfish, a Tabby Cat, and a gray cat named Opus. The Tabby Cat's name is Toby. The Dalmatian's name is Dottie and the Goldfish's name is Mrs. Fish.
Noah wrote the above as an assignment for school. I thought it was incredibly sweet! That's what Noah had to say about us. Here's what I have to say about Noah:

When Noah came into our family, our whole atmosphere changed. Never before had we had such a sweet feeling in our home. Noah is kind. He is gentle and soft with a rolling laugh that is very contagious. Noah loves words and enjoys making jokes out of puns or near puns - anything that can be construed into something it isn't is funny to Noah. He is a great reader. More than anything else in the world, Noah loves sports. He is a fantastic player and an avid fan. We have learned more about the world of sports in the past two years than either Tracy or I ever imagined. Noah also has an infallible moral compass. He keeps all of us in line and doing what is "right". He honestly receives great joy from doing good. We can not have much arguing or anger in our home with Noah around because it deeply disturbs him. He gets so upset and hurt if there are cross words -- it is painful to see ... nothing zaps me back to reality faster than Noah. Avoiding that hurt has made me a more patient and loving parent. He is such a blessing! We love our son so much! OH! and of course he is full of hugs and kisses - which is great because he is very squeezable!!
