What a Week!!

HOLY COW!! This past week has been so action packed! I am incredibly happy that school is out for the Summer. We finally have some time to be home & have fun! NOT that we haven't had a ton of fun this Spring, but I am looking forward to some "down time".

For a quick re-cap, this is a sampling of our past week:

Abby's big jerk of a Coach allowed her to pitch. I shouldn't be so mean about him, but ... ah, who cares? He's a big jerk with a daughter who has anger issues. They stink! She did well this past season. Their team is #1; however, we've agreed we rather Abby be on a losing team and get to experience a variety of positions and learn something than be on a winning team with a bunch of rude brats and no learning opportunities. Hmmmm ... how do I feel about this team? Hmmmm ... I wonder.

All of that aside, Abby pitched!! She did well. I think it reminded her to practice hard and strive for what she really wants. She's a great Ball Player!

Noah finished 2nd Grade. Here he is with Mrs.Davis. He LOVES Mrs. Davis. She is a fantastic teacher & will be sorely missed next school year. I've already heard from Abby's former 3rd Grade teacher, who is very excited to have Noah in class next year. He is a great student!

Abby is all done with Elementary School. Booo hooo hooo! I can't believe that she is going to Faubion Middle School in a few months. I will be spending the next two months in Denialville. Feel free to visit!

Dot showed me her magic touch. We were at lunch & Lily was so "over" me. Dot took her and BAM - snooze city! How amazing!!

I don't have a picture of it, but Noah had an awesome play in his Baseball game on Friday night. He had the BEST hit - straight down the 3rd base line, all the way to the green. He got a double and an RBI! Noah had four fantastic hits during the game. That kid can play him some Baseball!!

Kathy is getting married!! We had a shower for her at Poppy's downtown. It was wonderful! The joke of the day: "Does Dave know he's marrying four women and not just one?"
Tracy figured that out pretty quick. So far he hasn't seemed to mind. We are very lovable girls after all!!

One more crazy week done! Can't wait to start the next! We are cleaning out the house this Monday through Wednesday. Thursday and Friday, you'll find our sweaty little (or ample) booties outside having a garage sale! I'm so excited to get rid of all this junk! It won't be the Martha Stewart Tag Sale that I've dreamed of having, but I've got to complete this major toss!
