Dear Dottie

Dear Dottie,

Every day I see you walk around me. Your beautiful spots allude me. Your wet nose intrigues me. I long to pet your soft, velvet fur and pull your lovely long whip of a tail. Dottie, you are a beautiful creature.

Soggy bones you drop in front of me are morsels of delight until Mommy or Daddy grabs them from my hands. Why that is "ucky" to them, I don't know! Only I understand you, Dottie. Only I will feed you Cheerios for the next two years.

For now Dottie, I am forced to sit and wait for you to come near me. Very soon I will be able to chase you around the house. To lie upon your belly and pull your ears. Oh! Dottie! We will be the best of friends. My beauty is only matched by yours!
