Last Night for "Open Swim"

This summer we've experimented with a little get-together called "Open Swim". It's pretty much what it sounds like - people show up and ... swim!

To end our summer with a bang, we decided to step it up a notch and have a party. Food was cooked, root beer made, good friends came to share in the celebration!

Tracy tried out kebabs, sliders, and hot wings on his new grill.

We had an uninvited guest.
This little kitty, whom Abby named Midnight, showed up & gave our animal lovers a little excitement.

Food was appreciated by the kiddos.

There was an impromptu sing-a-long.

Couples spent quality time together.

Sisters and brother-in-law spent even more time together!

Lily soothed her sleeping friend.
Seriously, she saw Eloise was sleeping and did just what it looks like she's doing - gently caressed her face. It was so sweet! And look! Their little outfits match!

The children gathered under the glow of lanterns to enjoy their meal and chat.

Friends and neighbors sat poolside to catch up on the latest gossip.
