A LIttle QT with Daddy

It happens about this time - the baby gets fun & Tracy steals the baby's love from me. Little by little she will love me less and love Daddy more. It happens every time!

I only take solace in the fact that I'm the one who teaches the children important life skills & then enforces said skills until they become habits. It will all come back to me someday. The children will realize how much Mommy did for them & not think of me as the evil villain who ruined their life.

For now I will not harbor a grudge. I will wear my annoying, badgering, teaching badge proudly - pretending that I love enforcing rules & making children miserable with things like responsibility & hygiene. I will treasure the sweetness of the bond between daughter and father ... knowing full well that when they have fights with their friends or broken hearts or are expecting babies or hate their husbands, they'll love and cling to me!
