Psssst ... I got a secret!

Wanna know one of my favorite things to do?

I LOVE to scrounge Target's dollar section for seasonal treats to give the children's teachers. I put them together in clever little packages that hardly cost me a dime, yet are precious as precious can be!

Here is a sample of what was just delivered:

I absolutely adore these little pails! I filled them with fun things his teachers can add to the treasure box or keep for themselves - Halloween pencils, pencil toppers that are stamps, Halloween sticky pad, temporary tattoos, and candy - because all teachers LOVE chocolate!

This was my gift to teachers at the end of last school year:
These insulated lunch pails were a steal! I couldn't help monogramming them! Inside I put various and sundry car related items from the $1 section as well as a gift card to Dairy Queen and a Texas Road Map. Just in case they weren't big fans of the junk, I put the gift receipt at the bottom. After all, I realize that while this has all the pretense of looking like I do it for the teachers, I really do it because I just LOVE putting together gift bundles.

One more bit of documentation proving I'm a weirdo!

I LOVE IT! The dollar spot is my second home. I just got a cute felted pumpkin pail to pack with pumpkin bread for Josh's teacher. And best part, it was only $1.

How did you do the monogram? That was really fun. I love Target's $1 section too.

Teachers must love you, as a teacher myself gifts like that are amazing. I must add that my all-time favorite thing to get is a box or two of those standard yellow Ticonderoga pencils (they sharpen the best, and good pencils always have a way of walking away).
