One Man's Trash ...

I know what you're thinking, "Is this the bootie from National Treasure?! Are these priceless relics of years gone by?!" Why, no! These are my garage sale finds of the day. It's like they always say, "One man's trash is another man's treasure!"
Someone asked me just a few days ago if I constantly perused Garage Sales. In response, I roared with laughter and said, "OH! HEAVENS NO!!! If I did, we'd be broke & wouldn't be able to step through the house!!"

It's true, you know! I can't hit one single garage sale without leaving with something or other. If I leave empty handed, it's a sad, sad sale indeed!

This morning, after retrieving Noah from Baseball practice, we headed off to the sales. I just love these new-found treasures! There was one thing I didn't get because it was too expensive - a Fitz and Floyd soup tureen that was ginormous and so heavily laden with ceramic root vegetables and other accouterment that it was to-die-for awesome. BUT, it was $100. For a $400 item, not bad, but REALLY - can I justify such a strange, whimsical item?!

That soup tureen is adorable! Too bad it wasn't $10 instead of $100, but oh well-- your other finds look amazing. I love to find good junk!
