Happy 11th Noah

My sweet, precious, thoughtful, lovely son Noah turns 11 today.
I say those flowery things knowing this may be the last year I'm allowed to utter such nonsense to the general public. I remain hopeful that Noah will be similar to his cousin, Matthew (Miller), who still lets us love on him with abandon. I digress.

Today is Noah's birthday and so it started with "cake".

A giant Sausage Biscuit Cake that is!! Every year I try harder and harder to come up with an original idea for the kids' morning breakfast cake. This cracked me up!! We have a giant homemade, from scratch biscuit. On top is an entire pound patty of sausage with gravy as the frosting. I understand that the enormity of it is a little gross; however, it's funny!

Here is the Birthday Boy!

Opening his gifts. An adventuresome tale, 100 Cupboards, from Lily; a Leopard Webkinz from Abby; another book, Batboy, and an iPod Shuffle from Mom & Dad.
This is Noah's look of pure joy.
Happy birthday Noah!
I can't believe 11 years ago I gave birth to someone who has impacted my life with such positive change.
You are a joy to have as my son.
I love you!!
