Life is Scrappy

I have amazing luck - let's just get that bit of info out of the way. As evidence of this, a few weeks ago while on a little Girl's get-a-way in Dallas, I drove past a vacant lot and spied this:


Yes, yes - I know - most people would have kept driving, but do you see what I saw? Iron railing - decorative iron railing. I jumped out of the car in drizzley, cold weather and snagged a piece.

This pic was then immediately sent to Tracy with directions. Oh yes, victory is mine! I have a nice haul of salvaged decorative iron in my barn. For free.

I really enjoy this scrappy life!!
