Time Keeps on Slippin'

Today with the beginning of 2011, I've been thoughtful. This new year didn't bring those first day of school wishes of hope and new beginnings of years past. This year, I'm nervous about what lie ahead.

At this point in my life, I've come to understand that nothing is static. Change is not just on it's way - it's here. It's a current resident in my life.

For this new year, I hope to accept the fact that change is here to stay. I hope to welcome it's presence in my life instead of treating it like an elephant in the room. I yearn to respect change by greeting it at each new turn with a smile.
