They escaped the blizzards of Northern Utah to taste a little bit of our sunshine. How lucky are we to have such a wonderful family?!

My days are mostly spent beckoning to the whims of our tiny Princess. That doesn't make for a very exciting hostess. Fred and Marilyn took the bull by the horns and braved a visit to Cowtown on their own. They also took a daring day trip to Houston with Tracy and Grandma to visit Alan's daughters, Jennifer and Janet and their respective families. Fred displayed his persuasive ways by avoiding a speeding ticket. Who knew he had those big puppy dog eyes? All that combined with the excitement of Lily's blessing and a billion games of Scrabble (which Montierths turn into a game of strategy) - what a trip!!
Fred and Marilyn couldn't have known how sad I was that Grandpa Montierth passed away before he had the opportunity to see all of our children (in this world at least). His presence was missed at Lily's blessing. It was wonderful to have an Uncle standing in where Grandpa should have been. Thanks Fred, Marilyn, Colleen, and Grandma for coming to see us! It really meant a lot!
Of course, it was wonderful to witness how happy Grandma Montierth was to see and hold our new little Lily!

Wait, wait, wait!! I haven't talked about Lily enough!! It seems to be agreed by all that we have Tracy Jr. - the female edition - on our hands (except for her nose and mouth). I have had to stifle many a giggle when people say, "She has a pretty mouth." Of course, I hear it a la Deliverance style in a deep voice with a creepy southern drawl. I feel sorry for my children!!
