House Fire

Yesterday was Tracy's Birthday!! Hooray! Since we were a little busy, I skipped off and bought him a yummy chocolate cheesecake to celebrate. Admittedly, it was a wee little cheesecake (the kids swore they wouldn't like it - ummm, yeah, whatever). Because I am a mean, mean wife, I had to put all 38 candles on the cake. Ends up we only had 34 candles and a number 4. I almost wet myself laughing as I lit the bonfire. The candles were melting one another - there was such a thick layer of wax on top of the cake that it just lifted off after cooling for a moment.

As I type this, I am cracking up and Tracy is very irritably sitting next to me saying, "YOU ARE SO MEAN! IF I DID THAT TO YOU, YOU WOULD BE SOOOOOO MAD!!!" Why yes Tracy! Yes I would! But you are not me - you are you. Clearly you are more evolved and do not take such carnal pleasure in torturing those you love. Maybe when I reach your age, I'll be more mature! Booo Yaaa!!
