Is That CRYSTAL?!

Noah went to Challenger Soccer Camp this past week. Tracy and I learned some amazing ways to communicate with children:
  1. When you want to know if a child understands what you have told him/her simply ask in a loud voice, "IS THAT CRYSTAL?" and the child will respond (without fail), "CLEAR!"
  2. When you want to praise your child/children for a job well done you holler, "WHAT KIND OF JOB?" to which they will holler back,"GOOD JOB!!"
It's all quite simple. You let the kiddos do all the work for you by simply yelling out phrases for which there is only one answer. The military has used this for years with marked success. Why has it taken us so long to realize it and bring it on home?

In all seriousness, this is yet another year to add to the many which I am so pleasantly pleased with Challenger Soccer Camp. The boys & girls who run them are from Great Britain and are absolutely lovely. Noah's coach, Mark, was quite the card. Noah loved learning from him and couldn't wait to go to camp every morning.

Thanks Mark for being an overall good guy and for those helpful parenting tips!
