I discovered something last night. Quite a few of Tracy's nieces and nephews have blogs! My two nephews' blogs are listed to the right. Now - so are Tracy's.
We just love these "kids"! Isn't that funny? Most of them were in middle or high school when Tracy and I got married. I think Braden was on his mission and Bryce was in college --- I think - forgive me if I'm wrong fellas! Robert was, what, 12?! It's so amazing to see them grown, married, and having families of their own. That used to annoy me so much when Tracy's family would say things like that to me, but now I understand! What I find ever more extraordinary is that we have children the same age - thanks to Lily! She now has first cousins once removed to play with thanks to Leilani, Abby, Madelyn, Merritt, Grant, Bo, Maxwell, & Ella who were all born just months apart.
So, a word to all those lovely nieces and nephews who are so young and full of promise, who are rolling their eyes at my sentimental words and for me calling them "kids". Soon enough, Abby will be right where you are right now and you will be in my shoes and find yourself saying things like, "What?! Abby is getting married?!! She's only a baby!"
Even though Tracy and I aren't the best at keeping in touch (although we do put forth some effort with Christmas cards - hint hint!), know that we always think about you guys. We always ask your parents how you're doing. We know the names of your children. We are so happy to hear about your accomplishments! We do love you all so much!!
Oh - and watch out - you never know when that 12 year old family photo may reappear on my blog - mmmwwhaaaaa haaaa haaaa haaa!

Well, we love you Glenda, and I am starting to understand what you are talking about, we are excited that our boys will have cousins to play with in Texas, we talk about you and your kids to them so that they will be excited too. P.S. thanks for the Christmas cards
I can't believe you have found my blog, I just started posting a few days ago. But you know I got your blog address off of one of your old Christmas Cards! (ya I keep them) I rememered that you put it on there back in 2006 and I found it in my drawer of christmas letters and picture to scrapbook. Now that I am blogging I am not sure I will ever get to that but we shall see.
I am really happy to be keeping better track of your family now!
I have a friend that recently moved to Leonard and it has got me thinking I should visit you guys.
