Ho! Ho! Oh NO! Christmas is Right Around the Corner

You can feel it in the air, see it in the stores, and hear it on the radio - Christmas season is rounding the corner in full gear. With this year's economy on the fritz and money tight, you're probably wondering what in the world you can do gift-wise to get the most bang for your buck.

Let me tell you one of my absolute-all time favorite ideas! I have to note that I completely ripped off his idea from a fabulous gal who had a booth at last year's 'Neath the Wreath craft sale sponsored by Plano's Junior League.

They are fantastic boot stockings!
I bought the boots at thrift stores or yard sales, spray painted them inside and out, attached ribbons, fibers, and other goodies, and voila! One of a kind stockings that are just adorable!!
I made one for each member of my family, but I was on fire and didn't stop there.

I made them for families as well; however, each family received one boot stocking with their family monogram, toys inside for each child (pop guns for the boys, little animals for the girls), and a copy of the book, "The Night Before Christmas, in Texas That Is!".

They were a hit!

Happy creating!
Leave me a comment and let me know one of your fabulous Gift Ideas!!
