Since last Valentine's Day, our little neighborhood nest has been following the love story of Shannon and Juan.
Who would have thought that getting laid off from your job could entail a budding romance? Shannon didn't think so - for sure, but that's what happened indeed. Juan and Shannon had worked together for quite some time; however, Juan didn't get the gumption to ask her out until after their working relationship ended. It was a Valentine's Day date - what a tall order!!
Don Juan was in full swing that night with flowers and an unforgettable evening. Shannon was smitten!!
Of course, their relationship couldn't be "real" until Juan passed the friend test. Poor guy! He had to suffer through "Soup Night" with all of us. He was forced to endure an entire evening (and every encounter since) with all of us goofballs saying, "Juan, you sure make some good flan!"
Obviously, it went well! Juan and Shannon are getting married this Saturday in Miami!
Kim had a little lingerie shower for her last weekend.

After all the presents were opened and our little tummies full, we all headed down to the Square for 2nd Saturday. There was live music, open Galleries, and lots of shops open late. What a special treat to have a night out with the girls!!
