One Hour Forty-One Mintutes

One hour forty-one minutes. That is the amount of time I have before I need to pick Abby up from school. It's also the amount of time the baby will probably sleep. It's the amount of time I can do anything I want. Some days that seems like an eternity. Other days it's not nearly enough time.

Today, it's somewhere in between. I'm tired. I'm ready for the weekend. I want to go play.

BUT

There are things to do ... like there are always things to do!!

I could get started on them. I could go out, sweep the walks, clear off the side porch, plant the azaleas (that need to be planted - badly), fix up things to look appropriately "Fallesque"; however, I think I'm taking a different road today.

Today, I'm fixing myself a big bowl of chicken noodle soup, I'm grabbing my book, and I'm enjoying what's left of my (now) one hour and thirty-five minutes!!
