Never fear - "Daily Constitutional" doesn't refer to a daily issue of our rights as Americans.
For those of you who share my certain air of ... "quirkiness", you understand a "constitutional" is a walk, stroll, bit of exercise for the body.
After two weeks off school, campiness was setting in - big time! I decided the family needed a few minutes of diversion (aka - time for me to be free of acting as "Julie" the cruise director).
Abby, two months away from twenty-five, uh, I mean, twelve and half way through her first year of middle school preferred to pedal ahead of her embarrassing family.

Lily was very, very, very content to sit and chill in a half sleep while buried in blankets. I didn't see her move the entire time, yet, she managed to take off both socks and lose one. DRAT!
Tracy chuckles while Dottie chokes herself. Amazingly, Abby can walk Dottie around the block with ease, but when Tracy or I take the reigns - Dottie acts as if she is on a fox hunt - hacking and barking the entire time. Dumb dog! ... or is she?!
If you live in D/FW, you're probably thinking, "That couldn't be today!" You're right! This walk was documented a few days ago.
Today, it was over 70 degrees! We had to open the windows and turn on the ceiling fans. It was downright muggy! This winter is absolutely crazy - we're supposed to have snow on Monday.
I wish Mother Nature would cease with this schizophrenic behavior. Then again, it gives us days like this one that we can enjoy as a family outside & then we have the bad weather days to enjoy inside. Go ahead, Mother Nature, experience those mood swings - we'll try to ride the waves & keep all four seasons of clothing in our closet in the meantime!
Do y'all think the world is experiencing Menopause?
Wow! I sure did lose focus there didn't I?! I was going to delete the last part and then wondered why I should?! Any one of you who know me understand that the ability to go from one conversation to another is a unique and sometimes annoying gift I have....I'm soooo ready for school to start again!

I so hear you sista! Ella's school doesn't even officially start until next week, but they offer fun filled vacation care and let me just say-all three kids and Lennart will all be gone as of Monday morning! My home can be my santuary once again!
The weather has been pretty crazy here too!!! We had a couple weeks of freezing weather. It was 38 degrees when I took Tanner to Seminary in the morning two weeks ago and now it is up to the mid 80's in the daytime. Can't complain though, I could be in a foot of snow!!
