God Loves Me - Probably More Than He Loves You

Oh! I know God doesn't really love me more than anyone else, but some days it seems like that must be the case. How else could you explain this adorable grin?
Or Abby looking at me while I attempted to feed Lily while sewing the elastics on her ballet shoes and saying, "Mom, since you have to feed the baby and fix my shoes, why don't I make dinner?"
Or Noah rushing to Lily when she got a little fussy and soothing her? Click the video below to see how good he is with his sister. I'm refraining from using words like "precious" or "adorable" when referring to Noah because an old friend told me Noah may not appreciate that soon. Surely NOT, but I'm taking that sage advice anyway.

I would appreciate all this loveliness in my life under normal circumstances, but I especially appreciated it yesterday. Why? Tracy went to out of town Sunday. Sunday night was fabulous! Lily slept a record 8 hours! It was fantastic when she slept most of Monday too. It gave me time to tackle the twelve thousand loads of laundry that had piled high! Why oh why could I not see that this was leading up to Monday night or as I coin it, "Sleepless in Dallas"? I slept four hours that night - a very interrupted four hours. I got through the day okay, but by evening I was so done! The kids really rallied around Mom and were so great at getting things done. Abby, initially, was in a foul mood because I said "No" to going to IHOP for dinner (free short stack day). I told her I'd make pancakes for her - from there the other events unfolded. Abby made a fantastic pancake dinner for us all!! I am so, so, SO proud of her! Noah was very helpful with Lily. Every time he talks to her, she breaks into a big grin. That boy loves his little sister!!

Well, I was convinced that y'all would see me on the evening news (as in "trajedy occurred in McKinney this afternoon...") after I was left alone with the kids and all our responsibilities for four days, but I've made it through! God must love me a whole heck of a lot to bring these great kiddos into our lives. It's that or He loves Tracy and I just get the residual benefits!!! Either way, I'm pretty darn grateful!

Here's another video. This is of Abby cooking. Check out how she looks at me when she thinks the sausage has blown up in the microwave and I'm not responding. Hysterical!
