We took Crayola Fabric Markers, drew their own design on Muslin, ironed it to set the ink, cut, sewed, and stuffed.
We took two weeks of our Activity Day activities to complete them. All of the girls had a good time. It was a success! Thanks Emily!!
What I didn't expect was Noah coveting Abby's new, self-made bunny. This morning he asked me if he could make Perry the Platypus. He's the nemesis to Dr. Doofenshmirtz on Phineas and Ferb. To see his intro theme song, click the link below:
While I was getting ready for church this morning Abby & Noah created Perry the Platypus, Tracy ironed him to set the ink, and they cut him out ready to be sewn. When we arrived home from church I sewed him up, we stuffed him, and VOILA! Announcing the creation of our very own PERRY THE PLATYPUS!!

What a cute idea. Those turned out cute! where is lily's creation?
I love it and so much more inexpensive than the actual build-a-bear. I will have to keep this in mind for the future.
I'm glad you found our blog. Blogging is such a fun easy way to keep in touch. We've had 3 friends move to the Dallas area recently. I've told each of them they should move to McKinney because Braden's aunt and uncle (who aren't much older than us) live there and love it. Then I tell the wives that you're really fun and that they'd love you! I don't think its worked yet, but be on the look out for Florida transplants headed your way!
What a great idea with the dolls- I will have to remember that when my girls get older.
I'm so glad to see all y'all visiting our blog!
Kristen - send those buddies up to the land of milk and honey! McKinney is awesome! I'm a big fan of Dallas, in general, so anywhere they go is bound to be great. I'll keep my eyes open and ears perked!
YAY! You tried it! Yours turned out great, I love them. See, boys like to sew too!
