Countdown to Christmas

I know, I know ... it's only July, but I'm starting the countdown to Christmas because my dream has finally come true! Are you ready?

**We were chosen to be featured in
Chestnut Square's Holiday Tour of Homes**

I am so stoked! For years I have been telling Tracy that as soon as our house is on the home tour I can die a happy woman! Here's the deal, now that it's happened - I'm completely freaking out! 1st symptom of my freak out occurred when I purchased ten vintage knee hugger elves off Ebay. When I opened the box, Tracy looked at me and said, "We've got to have a budget for this whole Christmas thing." Can you read the disdain in his voice? I admit they're cute, but this purchase was clearly stress induced. Whatever can I do with them?!

So I'm opening myself up for ideas and suggestions. Give me the cutest, best Christmas decorating ideas you've ever seen. Nothing is too big or too much!

I will think on the decorating ideas. I want to see pictures of your house! That is cool. I recently went to a historic homes tour in our city and I really enjoyed it. Don't stress too much.

You really ought to call my mom Cathy, she is the Queen of Christmas decor, she could definitely give you a lot of suggestions.

SO EXCITED for you. Do you know the story about the magic christmas elves? Your elves match the story perfectly. If you need to borrow the book, I've got it. It has to do with hidden elves and little treats.

You know that the elves are supposed to represent each member of your immediate family. Actually it is children. I have one for each of my chldren and they climb the Christmas tree each night leading up to the day when they finally reach the top. Very fun! Looks like you need some more kids though. Maybe you could count the cats, the dog and you and Tracy, That leaves two more, you can have Lady and Buttons for Christmas. BTW, your house will be awesome...as usual!
