Yesterday I started thinking of all the reasons why I love our town. Here are a few:
- One mile to a Dairy Queen
- My neighbors were high school sweethearts
- Killis at Clyde's (Clyde's is now closed, but Killis was a favorite)
- Trees
- Characters with thick Texas accents ("Mam, we's gonna ....")
- Once a month flea market
- Close proximity to Dallas for the BEST shopping around, but far enough away to make shopping in Dallas an event
- Trick or Treating on the Square
- The Square
- A fair share of Senior Citizens (my grocery shopping would be mundane without them oogling the kids and baby)
It's funny. I've always considered myself fairly urban. I think I am, but at the same time I have this love for small towns and country romanticism. I guess you could say (and I know you see this coming)

I love your new back ground! It took awhile to load but it may have been my computer. I love brown! I would go for the rhinestone cowgirl to fit you for sure!
