Santa Baby

As the youngest child of Six, then Nine children (for most of my life) - I never, ever, in a million years, would request extravagant gifts for Christmas. My adult life has been no different. I usually see Christmas as a time for one or two special things, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Have you heard the song "Santa Baby"? I had a friend point out it's strange message, which got me thinking ... if I had a Santa "Baby", what would I ask him to bring? If for one brief moment, I stopped being rational, practical Glenda and instead thought about what would be so extravagant, so luxurious that I would feel very un-Glenda-like accepting it. Surprisingly, I didn't have to think that hard. (haha) Luxury to me is an item that is timeless. Something that is made well. A classic. So here we go! Here is my "Santa Baby" list (feel free to purchase any one or all of these items for me):

Snakeskin Christian Louboutin Sandals - click the link to see them. Of course shoes are first on my list!!

Ralph Lauren Chesterfield Coat - timeless! or the Cashmere Wool Wrap Cardigan

Pine Cone Hill linen bedding - layers and layers of it! Duvet, with a lovely coverlet, and soft as silk sheets with fluffy down pillows. I like a thick luxurious bed!!

This Cartier Watch

Creed Spring Flowers - anything. Candle? Yes. Lotion? Yes. Perfume? Yes. Bath Gel? Yes.

So - it's practical, but a little bit extravagant at the same time! What can I say?! I love to cook!

Paloma Picasso Hammered Gold Hoop Earrings from Tiffany & Co.

Burberry Giant Check Scarf - of course there are some gloves to go with that ... and a full length leather coat at Ralph Lauren!

Oh my gosh!! So much fun! I better reel myself in before I go into a complete Coma of fine things! AND - I'm going to spare y'all of some trite closure about the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus was one priceless gift! I think my list pales in comparison!
